 Bosma Enterprises is pleased to announce our 3rd annual Dining in the Dark fundraising dinner. The event will be held on April 28, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Indianapolis.
In its 3rd year, Dining in the Dark promises guests an evening of unmatched elegance, adventure and education about the hope available for people who are blind and visually impaired. Guests will be treated to cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as they browse the fabulous selection of silent auction items. A program and delicious four-course meal will follow the silent auction, as well as dancing and exciting games. In its 2nd year, Dining in the Dark raised more than $35,000 to support the Bosma Visionary Opportunities Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to support programs offered by Bosma Enterprises for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. For nearly 100 years, Bosma Enterprises has been creating opportunities that lead to the independence and empowerment of people throughout the Hoosier state who are blind or visually impaired. The Foundation’s primary objectives are to provide rehabilitation, employment, training, employment opportunities and community job placement in an effort to fight the 70% unemployment rate among adults who are blind or visually impaired.
